See. And Be Seen.
Real-time location knowledge of other aircraft is critical to the safety of your flight. With Avidyne’s SkyTrax technology, situational awareness is the affordable high-performance active-surveillance traffic detection solution for your flight deck.
The SkyTrax600 Series Traffic Advisory Systems (TAS) is based on technology originally developed for air-transport traffic alert and collision avoidance systems (TCAS) at an affordable price.
The Avidyne SkyTrax200 ADS-B receiver provides direct line-of-sight reception of ADS-B Traffic targets and is capable of receiving Flight Information System Broadcast (FIS-B) weather via 978MHz in US airspace. The SkyTrax200 is also capable of receiving output from active traffic systems and combining it with the ADS-B traffic thus presenting an integrated view of dual-band ADS-B, TAS, and ATC radar traffic.
Avidyne’s AXP series transponders provide full ADS-B surveillance capability and meet the requirements for flight above and below FL180 in the U.S. and internationally. AXP transponders transmit the position of your aircraft information to appropriately-equipped ground stations and other aircraft providing improved airborne surveillance and airport ground surveillance.
By the end of 2020, ADS-B Out was required in most U.S. airspace and both the AXP340 and AXP322 transponders meet all the current for both IFR and VFR flight.
The dual-antenna SkyTrax600 Series TAS Systems detect other aircraft sooner and more accurately
SkyTrax systems actively interrogate other aircraft, providing timely audible and visual alerts with the precise location of conflicting traffic
Avidyne’s SkyTrax200 Dual Band (1090MHz & 978 MHz) ADS-B Receiver provides Flight Information System-Broadcast (FIS-B) weather information, including NEXRAD radar, METARs, TAFs, AIRMETs, SIGMETs, Special Use Airspace (SUA), and Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs).
Avidyne’s dual-antenna SkyTrax600 Series TAS System detects other aircraft sooner and more accurately, avoiding the shadowing effects surprises of single-antenna systems. SkyTrax systems actively interrogate other aircraft, providing timely audible and visual alerts with the precise location of conflicting traffic. The dual-antenna SkyTrax Series provides full-time protection, higher performance, and improved safety by allowing you to see the whole situational picture.
AXP transponders support the latest Version 2 1090 MHz Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) Extended Squitter, known as “ADS-B out”.
All AXP transponders are Class 1 Mode S Level 2 Datalink Transponders, with support for 1090MHz Extended Squitter (ES)
AXP transponders meet all the current requirements for Mode S elementary surveillance transponders for both IFR and VFR flights.
Avidyne AXP transponders are slide-in replacements for existing KT76A/KT78A transponders
AXP transponders feature Direct-entry Numeric Keypads, Pressure Altitude & GPS Lat/Lon readouts, Flight ID entry, one-touch VFR code entry, an easy-to-use Stop Watch Timer, Flight Timer, and Altitude Alerter.
When coupled with the appropriate GPS receivers, AXP transponders provide full ADS-B surveillance capability meeting the new requirements flight above and below FL180 in the U.S. and internationally
