Introducing the new DFC110 Digital Autopilot
The Avidyne DFC110 brings the precision, stability, and intuitive operation of the DFC autopilot family to Vantage-equipped Cirrus aircraft, now with integrated VNAV capability.
Built on the proven DFC90 platform, the DFC110 includes the advanced digital autopilot modes pilots expect from a turbine-class system, while adding support for VNAV guidance when paired with Vantage 12.1.0 or later and dual IFD navigators running IFD 10.3.3.2 or later.
The DFC110 is attitude-based with digital precision, using the aircraft’s all-digital air data and attitude/heading reference system for smooth, stable, and highly accurate flight control. Compared to older rate-based autopilots, the DFC110 helps reduce overshoots, hunting, and flutter, especially during demanding instrument procedures and changing wind conditions.
And with Avidyne’s clear mode awareness, the DFC110 never leaves you guessing. Backlit buttons show armed and engaged modes, while flight director and autopilot indications are displayed directly on your flight displays, giving you confidence in what the autopilot is doing throughout every phase of flight.
